Comic Clubs in Schools

For those of you who teach or work for local area schools (I know there are a few of you out there), take note of this article from today's Toronto Star. It discusses a school that has a comic book reading club. The club has even expanded to include lessions on drawing and writing comics. I agree that comic books can be a great, non-threatening way to get children who wouldn't otherwise read to do so, as well as to help foster creativity.
