Up to 6 inches of snow by Thursday night
As we said earlier today, don't put the shovels away yet. National Weather Service forecasters now say that a low pressure system heading to southern Wisconsin from the central Rockies is expected to dump as much as half a foot of snow across southern Wisconsin on Wednesday night and Thursday. Snow totals north of a line from Madison to Port Washington might approach 8 inches, the Weather Service says.Snow is forecast to begin falling late Wednesday with the majority accumulating on Thursday, particularly during the evening rush hour. Commuters could also be affected by the snow during the morning rush hour on Thursday. The snow is predicted to end later on Thursday, with partly cloudy skies expected throughout the weekend and temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s.

As long as it starts AFTER we close on Wednesday, and the city can get it cleaned up by the time we open Thursday, I'm ok with this. Otherwise it sucks.

I am here to announce that the storm was nothing. It did snow pretty much all day, but it was just warm enough that it kind of melted as it snowed, so the sidewalks and streets were pretty clean, and the grass is just nicely coated with white.
