We're working on out final, final prep for our trip to Baltimore MD.
My brother-in-law was supposed to pick us up and take us to the airport tomorrow, but then there was some issue with it being such a nice day that my sister wanted them to blow us off...but now she thinks that she'll still have him take us like we originally planned. So, we might get a ride, or we might have to take a cab.
Our neighbor came over yesterday to get all set for taking care of our dog while we're gone. I wasn't 100% sold on the idea, but it does save us money and she seemed pretty good about it last night, so that's all set.
We plan on doing the Baltimore Comic Con on Saturday, and then touring DC on Sunday. But then we'd heard that Tropical Storm Florence might hit DC on Sunday, so we were freaking out. But now, according to the radar, it should avoid the coast for the most part. Overall, the weather forcast looks to be pretty nice while we're out there.
We still have to figure out what we want to do/see at the con and how early we want to start out the day both Saturday and Sunday, as well as what programs we want to attend on Monday for the retailer summit. It has seemed like we've done a lot of preparation and stuff just to be gone for a few days - and we haven't even packed yet. My mom was always anal about getting ready and packing for trips, and it's kind of rubbed off on me, so I feel like I need a million lists to be sure not to forget anything.
