Nasty Feet!
World War Hulk Frontline #1 is selling at lower numbers than anticipated.
I think its because of this nasty foot on the cover -- YUCK!
I think it's because the Civil War Frontline mini-series left such a bad taste in the mouths of many who read it, that they aren't even going to give this one the chance.
See what happens, Marvel, when you burn your readers out with bad story concepts and plots?
You're right James - it's not the ugly foot. Most people have said that they didn't really like the Civil War Frontline series - it had so little to do with the regular series - that they're not going to bother with it.
Marvel seems to often have the "that worked, let's do it again" approach to creating comics, and unfortunately that doesn't work most of the time.
