According to Ain't It Cool News (click on the link to be taken directly to the article), there is a rumor floating that there will be an animated direct to DVD movie made, to release shortly before the Batman Dark Knight movie. This animated movie is supposed to be some sort of lead-in to the movie, according to the rumors.
AND, according to the rumors, David Goyer (“Batman Begins”), Brian Azzarello (“Superman”) and Josh Olson (“A History of Violence”) are working on the project. Those are some big names in the DCU!
