Also included in this post - Marvel and DC's mini-series and one shots that are starting and ending, so we can all watch the comic book product line grow issue by issue. Since I've started this post there hasn't been a declining week in mini-series production.
And finally, I'll end with a list of the comics I'm reading from this week's incoming list.
Just making my cutoff this week of August 8 is DC/Vertigo's Deadman #13.
Futurama Comics is one of those every-other-month comics. Futurama Comics #33 (Bongo) comes out tomorrow. The previous issue hit shelves back on July 25.
Too bad it's not still summer! Paul Jenkins Summer Sidekick Spectacular #2 (Image) comes out in the fall. The previous issue DID come out in the summer, back on July 18th. We ordered back when summer was just getting started - in May.
The longest of gaps between issues this week goes to Gumby #3. I did figure this was done, either the publisher gave up on it or it was only a two-issue series. The previous issue arrived in comic book stores right after Christmas - on December 28, 2006. This issue was ordered in February. YIKES!
Not much from the Big Two for late stuff this week - but there isn't much from them at all this week. It was one of our smallest invoices from Diamond in a LONG time (last week was one of the largest, by the way). Other comic retailers have said the same for their invoices.

Marvel Fan Note - If you are planning to pick up the zombie variant covers they start this week. If you did not special-order these I suggest you head to your store early. Some stores did not order these at all, and others probably ordered them in small quantities (as we did - at least for this week's two: Howard the Duck and Ms. Marvel). You will want to act fast!
