Movie Stuff

Saturdays before we opened the store were usually movie days. In honor of that I'm posting some movie links for comic book related films.

The Spirit, based on the Will Eisner character of the same name and written-directed by Frank Miller, is scheduled for January 16, 2009. The movie web site just recently went live.

Click here to see some photos of the Batman cast doing some on-location shooting in Hong Kong. Nothing overly exciting, but if you're a big fan you might want to check them out.

Mark Millar & J.G. Jones' Wanted story is making it to the big screen. Check the trailer out here. Looks fun - lots of violence.

Did you know they're making another Punisher movie? Yes, it is true. Click here to see some Punisher: War Zone set pictures.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Beowulf film next weekend. The animation is quite impressive (see photo at the top of the post) and Neil Gaiman wrote the screen play adaptation for it.
