Eagle Awards
The Eagle Awards are United Kingdom's comic book awards. "They are named after the fondly remembered 1950s comic title Eagle and originated in 1976 thanks to two British fans, Mike Conroy (now part of the staff of Comics International) and Richard Burton. British comic fandom at this time was still relatively small but the awards proved to be successful, especially with American publishers such as Marvel Comics who would announce their victories with pride. X-Men was one title which regularly gathered handfuls of awards, mainly for its writing and art during the Chris Claremont and John Byrne era."
You can now place votes to nominate comic book talent for the awards HERE.
If you read & enjoyed Cemetery Blues, nominate them. They are listed as follows:
Thomas Boatwright--favorite newcomer artist
Thomas Boatwright-favorite artist-pencils
Thomas Boatwright-favorite artist-inks
Cemetery Blues--Favorite B/W
Also, if you liked Cemetery Blues, check out The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo. That book is on the list for favorite original graphic novel and it's done by the same artist.

Is Cemetery Blues worth checking out? I've seen it at the comic shop but didn't pick it up. I used to pick up almost anything new to give it a try, now I find it's a lot harder to part with my hard earned money to give something a try.
Jonh - I did like it. I thought it was a fun story with very good art. If you are looking for something new to check out, it's worth it.
Thanks for the kind words :) Glad you enoyed our first issue. The printer has delayed the following issues BIG time but they said theyre back on track.
Thanks for reading!
