Bad Blogger, Bad

Wow! It's been a while since my last post.  I always want to try to be a better blogger and take the time to post at least SOMETHING.  But this summer has kept us ever so busy.  I've got a full-time job plus dinner to make and a house to clean and... well, nothing anyone else doesn't have, I'm sure.  Well, unless you're rich enough to have hired help.  But in that case - who are you and do you want to donate to a comic book store?

This past weekend the family went to Wisconsin Dells - courtesy of US Bank.  My branch was one of three in our region to win the trip.  All employees & their families get to stay in the Kalahari resort for free, receive two free dinners, one free activity on Saturday, and the employees receive a $50 gift card too.  The weather was wonderful, the hotel is great, and the food was quite good.  All in all it was very fun!

Our new computer is still not working! If you go back about a month on the blog you'll see a post about it, and you'll see some photos on Flickr.com of Craig working on the assembly.  Turns out that the items we picked are so awesome that they can barely stand to be around each other.  Yep - each piece seems to work by itself, but once you put it all together there is always some kind of problem.  We hired a professional (www.wipcguy.com) to help out, and so far he's adjusted bios and reconfigured thing-a-ma-jigs, but the system isn't yet 100%.  Once it IS, it will cook!!!  Hopefully we don't have to sell it to cover the cost of getting it to work.

Tomorrow is New Book Day and Craig is ready!  He has some aggressive plans for 2009, but they're only possible if the finances work out - so shop at Neptune regularly!!!

Now if I can just find the time & make the effort to post on the blog regularly...

People had conflicting ideas about what the "DD" across Craig's chest meant.
