Free Comic Book Day 2009

It was a fun time again this year at Neptune's Free Comic Book Day. The crowd was big, we signed up lots of people for our new Neptune Rewards program. We sold lots of back issue comics--we had a bunch that were 12 for $6 and that section was quite popular. Lots of all-ages items and toys moved out the door as well. It was a beautiful day and the Star Wars 501st Legion members who came out for the day seemed to enjoy it. The cake was a hit, as always - some people even said it was their breakfast!

Thanks again to everyone who helped - our staff, volunteers, the 501st, and everyone who spread the word about the event. And thanks to everyone who stopped by and picked up their free comic book and brought food for the Waukesha Food Pantry. I hope you all had a great time and we'll see you again often.
