Yes, it is confirmed that there WILL be a Spider-Man IV. Release date: May 6, 2011. Expect that to be Free Comic Book Day weekend.
Yes, also true, Tobey Maguire will once again be the Amazing man in tights. Kirsten Dunst will also be reclaiming her role as Mary Jane Watson.
Probably not true: Morbius the Living Vampire will be the villain. Rumor has it that the villain in this film will be another NYC native. I hope it's the Lizard, since they have had Dr. Connors in two of the first three films.
Possibly true, but I'm betting not: That Spider-Man IV & V will be filmed back to back. Rumors have said that the screen play make it possible to shoot them that way. While it makes sense to do it, the Hollywood types are RARELY sensible. I've also heard that the original writer's script didn't impress the studio and they have hired a Pulitzer prize winner to pen the film.
Probably not true: Peter and Mary Jane will wed by the end of this film. Marvel's comics have put and end to the marriage in the comic book so I do not anticipate them marrying the two off in the movie.
