First Appearance

It's been almost three weeks since my last post. This is because we have a new member of the Neptune family - baby Hudson was born Friday, 9/4. He wasn't due for a whole month, but my water broke in the wee hours that Friday and the doctor wants the baby out within 24 hours of that happening, so out he came. Labor didn't go well, and after a couple of scares that sent us down to the operating room for an emergency c-section Hudson was born.

He had to spend nearly a week in the NICU due to a pneumothorax from being a bit too early. That was very stressful for us, but we had Shane run the store while we spent as much time as we could with Hudson. Now he's home and running the joint, keeping mommie up until all hours.

He hasn't made his first appearance at the comic book store yet, but he will make it there before the end of October - while I'm still on maternity leave. We'll be sure to let everyone know in case you want to check out the little man.
