I was working on research for the Neptune store calendar and discovered this: July 11, 1921: Wisconsin became the first state in the country where women had equal rights with men under civil laws as Governor John Blaine signed the Women's Rights bill. Personally I had no idea Wisconsin was so progressive back in the day, but I guess we were. Way to Go Wisconsin!!
