It's an Honor Just to be Nominated

It's a month late, based on when they initially said the results would be announced, but today we received this notice in the mail saying that we've been nominated for Best Of Milwaukee 2006 for Best Comic Shop. The other nominees, as you can see from the announcement (click to enlarge it) are Lost World of Wonders and the Edge. We don't think we'll win, but we'd be glad just to be 2nd, since we're the smallest of the 3 stores, and probably have the fewest customers, plus we're not technically in Milwaukee, just a suburb.

Thanks to everyone who did vote for us! We're looking forward to enjoying some free drinks thanks to the Shepard Express--the host of Best of here in Milwaukee. Just keep us in mind for next year's Eisner Award!
