If you saw on our web site, or another web site for that matter, listings for a Marvel Figurine Magazine thing and were wondering what in the heck it was... I'm going to tell you. If you didn't see it, I'm going to fill you in. If you already knew then you've been a good person and read your Previews catalog or check out Marvel related web sites.
Anyway, these figures are lead sculpted and hand painted. They were originally only available in Europe, but are FINALLY coming to the U.S. There is also a magazine that comes with each figure that contains a detailed history and background on the character.
This week we're getting Spider-Man, Wolverine, Black Panther and Angel. For some reason they're not coming out in the same order they did in Europe. They run $12 each, and there will also be figure stands and magazine binders available. I think we've ordered 16-20 different figures so far starting back in August. We almost missed them because they were hidden in the magazine section, but thanks to Sean McKeever telling us that he'd heard these were coming to the U.S. and how awesome they were, we managed to get find them and get them ordered.
