The local news papers in many cities have been all over the whole Stephen King's Dark Tower coming to comics thing. But, around here, it has not been covered. I didn't see it at all in the Milwaukee Journal, or in our small local paper, the Waukesha Freeman. I sent out press releases, samples, articles from other major newspapers, but none of them bit on it at all. Apparently the chance that Steak 'n Shake might be coming to Waukesha is bigger news.
FINALLY they sent a photographer here yesterday to take some pictures of people shopping for the Dark Tower comic. Unfortunately, she came when hardly anyone was here. Wouldn't you know! But, there were a few people, so at least she had someone to photograph. This was just a photo and caption - no column at all, but it's a nice size photo, so I'll take it.
