Are You Missing Superman Comics?

It turns out that the police in Ellwood City, near New Castle Pennsylvania, have found some Superman comics they believe are stolen. I feel a little bit bad for the business that bought them, since he or she paid the money out to the thief and now the police have the comics. That's why we ALWAYS take the information including name, address, phone number and driver's license number of the person selling us comics - so if we do stumble upon something stolen we can send the police right to the person that sold them to us. Story below:

NEW LOCAL: Police probing comic book mystery
New Castle News, New Castle PA

Ellwood City police are seeking the rightful owner of some Superman magazines.

Police were called to a Sixth Street business Thursday, where the owner said a suspicious man had attempted to sell him Superman comic books. When questioned, the business owner said, the man told four different stories about how he had acquired the comics and why he was selling them.

Police later learned that 29 Superman comic magazines had been sold to a Lawrence Avenue business.

All of them were recovered by police, who are investigating.

Anyone with any information concerning stolen or missing comic books is asked to contact the Ellwood City Police Department.
