Another week has come and gone, and tomorrow is two months from Christmas Eve - so don't say I didn't warn you. The year has flown by, even with it's ups and downs.Speaking of ups and downs, let's see what you've been waiting over seven weeks to see on comic book shelves! Those long waits are a big downer, but you always feel a bit better when a comic you like finally shows up.
This week my cutoff is 8/22/07 and there were a couple of comics that just made this cut: Savage Tales #4 (Dynamite Entertainment) and Thunderbolts #117 (Marvel) (pictured) are finally coming out tomorrow after going 7 weeks between issues.
Loveless #20 (DC) is also coming out tomorrow. The prior issue of that came out back on August 15.
Glister was a really cute comic and we sold out of all of the first issue copies we received back on August 8. The second issue of Glister is finally coming out tomorrow - I do believe that this was scheduled to release about every other month or so, so it may not be late.
While I highly doubt many people were actually waiting for this, Marvel Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z Update #4 is coming out tomorrow, with the prior issue having arrived back on July 25th.
Magician's Apprentice #10 (Marvel) is another comic available tomorrow that had its previous issue make it's way to comic book shelves on July 25. I suppose this delay was due to the whole Dabble brothers mess. Hopefully Marvel can get this and the other "break-up" books back on schedule.
Top Cow (Image) gets the honors of having the longest gap between incoming comic issues this week for Witchblade Shades of Gray #3. The last issue of this to make it's way to comic book stores came out back on June 20.
There were a bunch of comics that just missed my cutoff this week - they must be watching!

In all fairness, The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Update is a quarterly, so it's actually right on schedule.
Anon. Remember, just because something is on the list does not mean it is late. It means that it has gone longer than 7 weeks between issues. Sometimes on purpose, sometimes because it's late. But thanks for noting it for everyone.
And I subscribe to Marvel A-Z!!!
Alas and alack, I wanted to point-out that Deadworld was reissued as a new 4-issue limited after being canceled. The first issue premieres in December (we hope)! Still no word on Dr. Fate...
manodogs - I think the Dr. Fate series is now contained in the Countdown to Mystery mini series.
No way! I need to check with my provider then because I have Dr. Fate set so that I get every appearance and it hasn't lit-up yet.
