I recommend...

CRIMINAL VOL 2 #4, JULY 2009 PUBLISHED BY MARVEL/ICON

I know I've talked before about how GREAT the Criminal series by Ed Brubaker is. Well, I'm going to tell you AGAIN! It's a really well written book and Sean Phillip's art is gritty and dark in this series, perfect for stories of, well criminals of course.

Issue 4 (vol 2), pictured, is one of a four part story that I think is going to be really good, if the first issue is any indication. It's called Bad Night, and tells the story of Frank Kafka P.I. cartoonist Jacob. He has a secret, criminal past that he's trying to move past. Living alone, keeping quiet, staying out of trouble. Then one night of sin leads to events that will bring him right back to that life of crime he was trying to leave behind.

I recommend you pick up this issue and check it out. Even if you've never read an issue of Criminal before you'll like it. This is a stand-alone story, so you do not need to have read any of the other stuff.
