Annual Series?

I just read on Lying in the Gutters on Comic Book Resources that Alan Heinberg will be writing a Barbara Gordon series.

I was excited about the fact that they're doing a Barbara Gordon series. But disappointed that Heinberg would be on it. He's historically slow! DC needs to get several of these "in the can" before they even bother to put it into previews. Otherwise it's going to end up being like All-Star Batman & Robin - where we see about one issue each year.

Now, if he could just get his Wonder Woman arc done.
