When CW's hit show Smallville returns this fall, Clark Kent will find out he has another member of the family that survived the death of Krypton - Kara AKA Supergirl. (The Supergirl pictured is Helen Slater from the 1984 movie "Supergirl")
Executive producer Al Gough is quoted as saying, “There was a problem and she’s been in suspended animation for the last 16 years. We’ll find out in the season premiere that the big dam break in last season’s finale is the reason she’s finally awoken.” “She has all of Clark’s powers and a couple he doesn’t have yet,” Gough teases. “She can fly. And her response when Clark asks why is ‘obviously girls mature faster than boys.’”

In season 6 they added Green Arrow for several episodes, as well as Aquaman and Cyborg and we've seen a few episodes towards the end of season 6 with Manhunter in them. Those were all pretty good, so I'm hoping they'll do a good job adding Supergirl into the cast. This could be the last season of the show, too.
