Birds Migrating
According to Newsarama.com, DC has given them the solicitations for March 2009 and several Batman family books are ending that month, one of which is Birds of Prey.
That makes me sad. I really enjoy BOP, and have for a while now. I hate to see it go. In the article they also mention that the books will be replaced in 2009 by new series. Will there be a new BOP book, or have the gals been abandoned entirely? I hope it's the former, not the latter. I know many female comic book readers who enjoy that comic book, and sure some men too. The characters are so interesting and fun - strong and smart women who can do tights or evening gowns or blue jeans. It's bad enough that the restarted Manhunter is ending--Didio is on my hit list with this one.
BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS! BRING BACK BIRDS!

Weird! I have heard nothing but praise for this title, though I did not read it myself. I actually considered picking it up several times, but money constraints kept me from doing so.
There's still Green Arrow & Black Canary... right?
RIGHT!?
So far, Mano, so far.
DiDio is a d*uchebag. Wouldn't hurt to promote exciting titles in his universe instead of touting the crap he's got Morrison barfing up.
