Dr Horrible

Did you know that Joss Whedon likes musicals? Yes, it must be true. He's done a Buffy musical episode, and now his own on-line musical called Dr. Horrible.

Since you're out here on the ether reading this, you probably have seen it months ago, but I haven't. That's the problem with working at the bank, with a bunch of non-geeks, I am now behind the curve on this stuff.

Dr Horrible can be downloaded here.

If you have seen it, is it any good? A couple of actors that are relatively well know, looks like a semi-decent production value for something intended to be low-budget.

Is it worth me taking the time to download and watch it?

I'd say anything's better than "Urinetown"... and I PAID to see that piece of garbage. I haven't seen it yet, but since it's Joss and he just so happens to be "Tha Man," I'd consider taking a look at it.

(That musical Buffy ep wasn't all that bad, to be honest)

I liked it. Whedon's got a real knack for musicals and wity dialoge. At the link you posted there is a link to watch the show; it's the forth link down the page. I'd watch it there first to see if you want to own it.

I loved it and if you've enjoyed almost anything that Whedon has done, you should definitely watch it.
